Today, as I was wandering around carelessly in New Look, I glanced at the sale racks and saw a whole load of Spring/ Summer ’09 pieces. I then thought, “I wonder if this will be ‘in’ next year?”. So I got back home and searched on the internet for next years Summer fad.
Last year, neon colours were the rage. I couldn’t walk anywhere without seeing a girl dressed with a neon garment, somewhere. This Summer, pastel is key. Along with pastel colours, lace and very feminine patterns like floral is supposed to be in. I also found out vintage pieces will come in somewhere too 
I am already a step up as I have tons of floral pieces. My favourite floral piece I own was a skirt from Topshop’s ‘Day Of The Dead’ collection, that was released just after Easter. I also got a lovely black lace dress from Cult, which has the “vintage” look to it.
